Every patch makes some champions broken, and some of them absolutely useless. Balance team is terrible, most of them are not even playing the game, or if they do, they are low ranked. Finished the game at platinum I after failing diamond promo for 5 times, mostly because of AFK / inting people. Downsides is the player community, the unfair ranked system (literally a coin flip, and you can only get higher if you are much better than your MMR, otherwise you will suffer), and also feeling slightly pay to win (I'm mostly winning if I buy riot points). Almost sure, you will find your favorite champion to play and align with. Many champions, very good cinematics, nice lore and sound / artistic design.
